GITA ANNOUNCES ELECTION OF DERRY GREEN AND VICKI JONES AS CHAIR AND VICE-CHAIR OF GITA
GITA this week announced that Derry Green founder of The Secret Garden Glamping has been elected as its Chair for the next two years, and Vicki Jones, Founder of Tractors and Cream Glamping, its Vice-Chair.
Derry Green said: “To be elected the Chair of the Association is a great honour. GITA is only 12 months old. Having gone from an idea to a sustainable and effective trade association with over 100 members in that time is both gratifying and heartening. Everyone involved has my thanks and that of the industry. We are now looking at a very exciting future with plans to expand our offering to members and to ramp up our lobbying work on behalf of the glamping sector.”
Vicki Jones said: “I am delighted to be elected as Vice-Chair of GITA. We have gone from strength to strength over the past twelve months and I am really looking forward to working with the team to take the Association to the next level. In particular I am keen to see more face-to-face gatherings of members.”
