GITA AND MWT PLANNING CONSULTANTS TEAM UP TO PROVIDE GITA MEMBERS WITH MONTHLY PLANNING ROUND TABLE EVENT
GITA this week announced that it has teamed up with MWT Chartered Planning Consultants to deliver free monthly on-line roundtables discussing everything to do with planning. Billed as ‘Ask Claire’, as they will be delivered by MWT Director, Claire Wilkinson, the roundtable events will help steer members through the planning minefield.
GITA Executive Manager, John White, said: “Claire Wilkinson is one of the best planning consultants in the Country and we are lucky she has specialised in glamping. Following an exceptional GITA webinar earlier in the year, numerous planning questions for Claire popped into my inbox; there was clearly a demand for answers to a wide range of planning questions. It seemed to make perfect sense to package up those questions for Claire into a monthly “Ask Claire” roundtable where members can get answers to any questions they may have on all matters to do with planning.”
Claire Wilkinson, said: “I know from my experience at MWT that there are some real challenges in getting any planning application for a glamping site right first time. The process can often feel overwhelming as well as expensive. I hope this new GITA initiative will help Members navigate the minefield and avoid what can often be expensive mistakes.” The initiative will be launched at The Glamping Show in September and the first roundtable is slated for October. It adds to the already impressive array of services for GITA Members, which are valued at well over £3000.
